Chapter 01

How we got here

FarmTrace was established in December 2015, initially engineered as a targeted data capture and management system for chemical spraying audits. However, this foundational work quickly revealed a critical industry gap: agricultural enterprises were generating vast volumes of operational data, yet lacked the infrastructure to effectively capture, centralise, and leverage it for strategic decision-making. By partnering closely with our early clients, our solution evolved organically — transforming isolated data points into actionable, enterprise-wide intelligence.

Chapter 02

Platform growth

From its origins as a specialised compliance instrument, FarmTrace has expanded into a comprehensive agricultural operating platform. Our ecosystem now provides full visibility and control across chemical application and pest monitoring, human resources and labour tracking, asset and inventory management, as well as energy utilisation and operational reporting. This expansive growth was driven by a steadfast commitment to client-led innovation — solving tangible operational pain points and engineering a highly adaptable system for diverse regions and commodities.

What we believe

People want capable partners. They also want people they trust.

We take the work seriously, we care about the outcome, and we care about the relationship. Real problem solving, not generic software promises. Strong relationships. Fast, committed support.

Chronicle

Key moments in FarmTrace's development

From a single compliance audit tool to a full agricultural operating platform.

  1. 2015

FarmTrace was established with a clear vision to digitise agriculture, initially launching with specialised chemical spraying audits and comprehensive operational data capture.
